Testimonials

"I would like to thank your team, and especially Anne for her time, professionalism and excellent commentary for the students who visited last Friday from Rouse Hill. The new science tour is excellent and I will be ensuring that I offer this experience to my students in the future and share with in my local learning community.

"I think you will find that more schools will be looking for experiences like yours with the development of the new Stage 6 NSW Science syllabuses."

Cheers

“The thing I was really excited about was the fact that we would be looking at currently running experiments and seeing what sort of science is being done in the cave right now. I think that was particularly important for my students to see, to give them an idea that science is continually evolving. I’m a big believer in enquiry project based learning, and I think that experiences like this are what will really help students develop that perception of science as an exciting subject. It really gets them excited about learning.”

"Thank you for the enjoyable and smoothly run stay at Jenolan. For us year 11s it bought back great memories of when we arrived and stayed here back in year 7.

"I know that much of the time your work goes unappreciated by those staying here, our school included, so on behalf of Normanhurst Boys High School I would like to thank you and the Jenolan staff for the immense amount of effort you all put in.

"Thank you again for giving the year 7s an experience they will always remember, as I have, and I hope that our school,s long standing tradition with the Jenolan Caves establishment can continue for years to come so that we can all enjoy such a wonderful experience as we all have the past.  Many thanks and best wishes."

(This endearing letter was discovered in Room 208 by housekeeping staff after Normanhurst Boys' High School went home.  We were all overwhelmed and touched by it. What a great school - young gentlemen all!)

"Thanks so much for the really excellent caving experience your team gave my Year 8 girls group last week. They loved it and learned a lot. Again I want to thank you and your team for the delivery of such a worthwhile and rewarding programme for groups such as this."

"Thank you for all your help in planning our Primary Wind Ensemble visit over the weekend. The tour was a great success and our children really enjoyed performing for your visitors on Sunday. Please pass on our thanks to your staff who assisted on the day."

"Thank you all so much for making Stage 2's visit to the Caves on Friday such a success - the kids (and staff!) had a ball. Special thanks for organising the cave tours for Lachie (on crutches) - he was thrilled to be able to come along and is quite convinced he saw heaps more than the other kids, because he was able to see TWO caves!!"
Thanks again to you all.

"Firstly, thank you for our 'extended' Jenolan Caves experience. We truly did have a great time despite the concerns over the fires. It was greatly appreciated that you organised the extra cave tour for us after letting us know about the road closure. The guide staff were also very helpful when making our decision to make a move on Friday. The kids were disappointed that we did not end up staying another night! The night cave tour was great and the highlight (for me anyway) was the platypus tour. Seeing a 'real live' platypus was fascinating, along with the lizards, bats, wombats and even a red belly black snake. The restaurant was also very exciting for the kids. None of these things would have been as exciting if it hadn't been for the guides and staff. Special thanks to Nada, Anne and our guide for the Chifley cave (sorry, I have forgotten her name.) Their enthusiasm and passion for the caves and animals made the experience so more engaging and interesting for us all.  Our Blue Mountains camp is every two years, so we hope to tour and stay again then. Stay safe."
Thanks again.
