Katoomba to Jenolan via Hampton - map & directions

If you are driving west, from the general direction of Sydney, but you want the fastest way, you may use this route.

From Katoomba, drive west on the Great Western Highway to Jenolan Caves Road, at Hartley. Turn left.	45 min.	27km
Drive through Hampton, to Duckmaloi Road. Turn right.	27 min.	23.6km
DO NOT TAKE BOGGY CREEK ROAD. (Turn off your navigator.) On Duckmaloi Road, head towards Oberon, but before reaching Oberon, turn left onto Titania Road.	15 min.	20.1km
At the end of Titania Road, turn left onto Edith Road.	3 min.	4.2km
Stay on Edith Road, all the way to Jenolan.	20 min.	21.5km
	1 hr, 50 min.	96.4km

TRAFFIC CONTROL DELAYS -ARRIVE WITH ESCORT VEHICLE:

On Edith Road, 3 kms before Jenolan, at the top of the steep valley descent, STOP AT THE BARRIER. The descent is now one-way, so Transport for NSW will escort your vehicle 3km down to our carpark. Then, catch our free shuttle bus, right down to caves and hotel. Escort vehicles run every 20-minutes and shuttle bus runs more frequently.

To be on time for your tour, please arrive at the barrier (3km from the caves) ***1 HOUR AND 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR FIRST BOOKED ACTIVITY.***

LEAVE WITH ESCORT VEHICLE: Escort vehicles leave our car park every 20 minutes, to accompany vehicles back up the hill.
